How do I book an Inflatable?
The quickest and easiest way to book is by booking online or if you have any queries, please feel free to phone Derek on 0879714734. If for any reason that the phone line is engaged or not answered, please leave a message giving your name, address, phone number and the date in which you are looking for an inflatable and Derek will phone you back before the end of day.
How much notice is required for booking?
You can book anytime, however we do get very busy so we recommend that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. For our very busy times such as April and May, which is Communion and Confirmation season, we generally start receiving bookings in September and October for these months. For other times, generally booking one to two weeks in advance is fine.
What type of inflatables do you hire?
We have a large range of Bouncy castles, with and without slides, Obstacle courses, Slides, Disco Domes, Bungee Runs, Gladiator Duels and Sumo suits. They come in all different shapes & sizes to suit any size garden.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required, we take people at their word. For larger Corporate or Festival bookings, a deposit maybe required.
How do I pay?
The majority of people choose to pay cash on delivery. Unfortunately, we do not accept credit card or debit card payments. We can accept cheque payments or Bank transfers too.
When I hire the castle, is there anything I need to supply or do before hand?
We only need access to power which would be the mains 13amp socket power supply. Please have your lawn clean and free of dog dung. Everything else we will supply and do.
What if it rains?
Unfortunately, we can't control the weather. If the forecast is promised bad and you wish to cancel, please phone us two to three days before your event and cancel by phone call. In any case, most of our castles and obstacle courses have raincovers, so the odd shower won't affect things too much. We do have Disco Domes that are fully operational in the rain .
Can your castles be inflated indoors?
Yes, all of our inflatables can be used indoors provided you have sufficient space inside for them. During the winter months, a lot of our customers have their parties in their local hall and we can set the inflatable up inside the hall. So there is no chance of the unreliable Irish weather affecting your party. We have hired inflatables to the following halls over the years: Collinstown Hall, Brownstown Hurling Club Hall, Clonmellon Hall, Castlepollard Hurling Club Hall, Ringtown Hall, Coole Hall, Multy Hall, Killucan GAA Hall, Rathowen Hall, Ballymore Hall, Boher Hall, Moate Hall and Mullingar Arts Centre, to name just a few.
How long does it take to set up the bouncy castle?
Depending on the type of inflatable that you hire from us, but in most cases we can be in and out in 15 to 20 minutes and it is the same when collecting.
Do I have to supervise the castle?
Yes, all castles has to be supervised by an adult at all times.
What happens if the inflatable is damaged due to misuse while I have it hired?
Fortunately, this doesn't happen very often. However, if there is some damage caused to the inflatable, the hirer will be billed for the damage.
How much electricity do inflatables use in a day?
Not very much at all, normally around €2 electric for the day. It is important to note that the fan is kept running during the entire day.
What days are you open?
Our booking office (087-9714734) is open from 9am to 7pm, from Monday to Saturday. We also hire inflatables 7 days a week.
I have heard of people been let down by bouncy castle firms in the past, how are North Kildare Inflatables different?
Unfortunately, there are a lot of 'Cowboy Operators' out there, who has no problem in letting down customers or double booking customers in busy months like April and May. Here at North Kildare Inflatables, we are proud to say that we have never let down as much as one customer in over 23 years of business and we have no plans to start doing that now. We guarantee that we will never let down a customer, when we say we will deliver, we guarantee we will deliver.
